Soft Drink Technologies is a business that provides consulting services of technical nature to the beverage industry. My name is Maurice Shachman and I am the sole proprietor of this business. I have been conducting this consultancy from my home in Johannesburg since 1999 after early retirement from Schweppes South Africa where I held the position of Technical Manager.
I have recently relocated to the beautiful small town of Dana Bay on the Western Cape coast where I am embarking on some personal enterprises…including surf angling. It is also my intention to carry on with my consultancy business from Dana Bay but the latter’s secluded location off the beaten path somewhat restricts my mobility in meeting with prospective clients on a one-on-one basis. I have therefore decided to offer my consulting services on an ON-LINE basis. By this I mean that I am available to address potential client’s needs and problems using telephonic and e-mail communication means. In the past I have indeed effectively conducted such consultancy exercises with several overseas clients and suggest that this could indeed apply to local South African clients as well. In the event of an on-line consultancy project developing to a level where there is a need for me to visit the client on site in order to further address the issues involved I may be prepared to travel to the client’s location. I invite you to try out this on-line consultancy service, my fees for which be will be very reasonable, as I need the business to subsidize my angling equipment in which I have invested rather heavily.
